Before CrossFit I would work hard in the gym to improve my strength but could never seem to lose unwanted fat and my weight increased. When I heard about CrossFit Northampton and the services they provide I spoke to them to see what they could do for me to meet my goals. I am a golf professional so it was important to find a trainer who could focus on my specific needs and training requirements that would suit and benefit me. Through changing my diet and exercise regime I have lost over 2 stone. I have increased my strength, flexibility and fitness levels. Through their help my concentration on the course has improved because I no longer fatigue and eat correctly.

Over the years I have trained with weights using the many various approaches and techniques dependant on which "Expert" was in fashion, ranging from Hi rep - low weight to heavy HIT type training, (which is my fav because I like to go Heavy) However I never really got the results I wanted,my training was getting stale and I really needed something to get excited about Growth was easy, lifting heavy was fun but conditioning and muscle definition always alluded me and all the so called new workout programmes I saw online just seemed like the same old stuff re-hashed. So when Kris introduced me to Crossfit, I was a little dubious but curious enough to give it a go. Now, I love it, Crossfit seems to incorporate every type of training I have ever done and some I have never tried before. So now I get to go heavy one day and enjoy feeling strong, another day be totally challenged by a new lift technique or exercise. Crossfit doesn't just focus on being strong, its conditioning, strength, balance everything really, the exercises easily cross over into skills needed in everyday life so you really feel the benefit of working out. You always feel like you are progressing but still have more to strife for. So for me it keeps me motivated because I am constantly learning and improving and always have a target no matter how good the last session was. Kris is a very personable and driven trainer and is able to easily adapted the workout to a level which is in my range but pushes me out of my comfort zone. would recommend him and crossfit to anyone looking for results from their training, whatever the results may be.

The school has used Kris and the CrossFit gang on a number of occasions to help motivate members of the school rugby teams or just those wishing to get fitter. All of the pupils have enjoyed the variety of activities, challenges set before them and the sore muscles the next day! Sessions have been rewarding and have helped to encourage team morale. I would like to thank Kris and the team for all their hard work!

I had been a slave to the gym for years and kept getting stuck in a rut with training programmes and I generally suffered from a lack of motivation and inspiration so I was always on the look out for something different. The CrossFit programme is different – good different! The intensity and variety of the programme is awesome. I’ve never trained so hard but I thoroughly enjoy it and the results I am getting in terms of fitness and wellbeing have been phenomenal in such a short space of time.

CrossFit is a whole new way of exercising for me. I have never been a fan of gyms, finding them uninspiring for someone who needs a lot of motivation to exercise. What I like about CrossFit is the variety of exercises/challenges which keeps the interest level up and the ability to take part no matter what your experience or starting fitness level. It provides a real challenge and a mixture of competition against your own improving ability and exercising as part a team.I am finding it’s not just about exercising; it’s about attitude and improving your sense of general wellbeing. After endless workout classes at the gym for over 18 months trying to loose my baby weight I began to get frustrated, nothing seemed to really tone my body. I needed to try something else. My first consultation with Kris was helpful and really inspiring. Once I started to train the results started to show fast. Kris gives you the support and enthausasium to suceed and keeps pushing you to the limit. I feel healthier mentally as well as physically, slimmer and have so much more energy. I am now totally hooked on the CrossFit way of life!
